Salon Bisou provides discounted hair cuts to generous people willing to donate their hair to the Wigs For Kids orgranization. They team up with stylists to help make great things happen and provide wigs for kids with medical conditions affected their hair growth. Below are the guidelines and conditions, as well as the process for the hair donation.
Donate your Hair
Donating your hair is easy! Simply make an appointment with one of our hair stylists and they will guide you along the process. Our staff will handle the donation itself so the hassle will be minimal. Simply showing up and deciding how much hair you wish to donate is all that is required!
Guidelines for a Hair Donation
There are a few simple requirements for a valid hair donation. Salon Bisou Stylists are able to help support these requirements. The following are required for a successful donation:
- 12 inches or more, the longer the better!
- Hair must be natural. Chemical-free, without dyes or perms.
- Hair must be completely dry.
- Hair donation must be banded or braided. (Your stylist will band the hair for you.)
